What can one possibly say about yesterday’s event? I am amazed by everything that went down yesterday, it was an amazing day. Thank you to all 22 Open Division Teams that participated and made this event possible. It is you the PLAYERS that deserve all the thanks and credit, it is so wonderful to see what you (the players) are making paintball in South Africa. Thank you to the players and people that make this event possible. To SASP (Oliver our international player hehe) and Mr H for joining in on the fun LOL…. Phillip Uys and the whole Lordz team helping out with everything and all the Marshalls, they were GREAT. To our sponsors DYE, SAF-CAPS, RPS PAINT, BNT, GUERRILA AIR. NPL EVENT #3 RESULTS

It was yet another amazing NPL event and we would like to thank everyone that was there. The NPL league is as strong as the people who support it and without you ALL we would not be able to host the event. It is wonderful that in the 1st year of the Nova Paintball League we can draw teams (old and new) from every corner of province. Thank you to all the teams that support and play in the… NPL and that support PAINTBALL, it is because of you that the NPL has the vibe it does. It is also beautiful to see that there are teams showing vast improvement and that the “more serious” teams support them on and off the field. I think it is fair that teams like Mayhem and Mechanix deserve a special mention as they have shown such great improvement. We would also like to say thank you to Dragon Raiders and their family for coming to their 1st NPL event. It is always nice to see more people making paintball a “family” sport. The teams had it all to play for as the SASP made the prize announcements for Africa Cup recently, many teams’ expectations of qualifying made this an interesting event. I personally (as a player) was astonished by these prizes for Africa Cup 2012. A special thank you to all our sponsors that made these prizes available, namely: SAF-CAPS, Guerrilla Air, DYE, KEE and Blades and Triggers.

NPL #2 awsomeness!!

I am not sure how or what to say after yet another AMAZING NPL event at Nova. The Nova Paintball League started off with quite a bang and we had to maintain the standard set at NPL #1. Not only did we manage to do that but once again we set the bar even higher. The day started with an awesome vibe and with 21 teams and a field layout set for destruction and chaos the players took the field. There …were some insane moves and the level of paintball and the sportsmanship that was shown on and off the field was magnificent. The marshalling was excellent thanks to Johan Van Niekerk and the rest of the marshals for all their hard work. Nova would also like to thank the Paintball Shop Centurion (Elaine Botha and Hardie Botha) for their contribution to the event and all the sponsored prizes. Also a thank you to Blades & Triggers for all their help. I wish I had words to express what a great feeling I have in my heart about Paintball in South Africa, and all the players involved. No matter what at the end of the day it is about the game and all the wonderful compliments we (Nova) received from you all made us realise we are ALL on the right track. We live for the competition, we live for the friends, the practices, the memories, the pain, and it’s who we are. THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING PAINTBALL WHAT IT IS…..
